How It Works

Levitra, containing the active ingredient vardenafil, is an oral medication used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men. Vardenafil belongs to a group of drugs called phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitors. It works by increasing blood flow to the penis during sexual stimulation. By inhibiting the PDE5 enzyme, it allows the blood vessels in the penis to relax and widen, helping to achieve and maintain an erection.

• Retinitis pigmentosa (a rare genetic eye disease)
